The abnormal sound during the operation of the submersible pump is related to the power supply, the fixed condition of the motor, the pump or the outlet pipe, the manufacturing quality of the submersible pump motor, or the malfunction of the motor.

The main reasons for abnormal sound during submersible pump operation are:

  1. The submersible pump has too shallow submergence depth, and the air is sucked in during operation to form a vibrating sound.
  2. The bearings of the submersible pump are worn and rattling.
  3. Two-phase operation, the submersible pump motor makes a buzzing sound.
  4. Loose submersible pump impeller.
